Stephen is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His path in the physical therapy field began in high school where he worked as a physical therapy aide in his hometown of Hawthorne, NY. After playing numerous sports in high school, Stephen attended Towson University in Maryland where he graduated in 2013 with a BS in Exercise Science. While at Towson, he interned as a strength and conditioning coach with professional athletic trainer Nate Costa at Under Armour Performance Center in Baltimore. There he developed and monitored strength, conditioning and flexibility programs for a diverse demographic. After graduation, Stephen became a CSCS with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and was a personal trainer at both Equinox and Lifetime Athletic. His athletic background in football, baseball, wrestling and track influence all his training programs. Outside of Physiofitness, Stephen has a deep passion for music and is a drummer in three different rock bands. When not playing music, he spends time training for his first half marathon and also enjoys weight lifting. Stephen is currently taking pre-requisite classes to pursue his next goal of becoming a Physician Assistant.
