Melanie graduated from Drexel University in 2015 with a BS in Health Sciences with a Pre-Physical Therapy concentration and Dance Minor. Starting out as a young tennis player, Mel has competed in Junior USTA New England and national tournaments since the age of 10. While at Drexel, she played on the Division I tennis team for three years. As a student-athlete, she set team records in strength and conditioning sessions and was recognized for several academic awards. Off the court, she danced in university-wide competitions and worked with America’s Best Dance Crew winners SuperCrew. Prior to joining Physiofitness, Mel worked closely with orthopedic patients, athletes, and professional dancers during a six-month internship with NovaCare Rehabilitation Sporting Club Center in Philadelphia. This fall she will complete her Functional Movement Systems certification and looks forward to growing with Physiofitness team and applying for her DPT program in the future.
