Kinstretch is a mobility and flexibility class where you’ll learn how to self-assess and address movement dysfunction, enabling you to prepare your body to perform efficiently and — most importantly — without fear of injury.
How is Kinstretch different from yoga or other mobility classes?
Unlike many training systems, KINSTRETCH is a practice complete with a self-assessment system known as Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs). In Kinstretch, you’ll learn how to use CARs to monitor your own body on a daily basis and assess for movement dysfunctions that may be causing pain or loss of performance. CARs are an integral part of Kinstretch and are used in every class both as an assessment and training tool to improve joint health and resilience.
How would I benefit from taking a Kinstretch class?
All certified KINSTRETCH Instructors are also certified in Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®) making them extremely knowledgeable in human movement, biomechanics, and body control development. That means your KINSTRETCH instructor is highly trained in spotting and correcting dysfunctions in your body as you practice. You’ll leave every class learning something new about your body’s movement and will want to discover more.
How can KINSTRETCH make me better at my sport/activity
Kinstretch is a movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility and USABLE ranges of motion. It serves as an adjunct to your particular sport or activity (Running, weightlifting, crossfit, etc…) to increase your ability to control your joints better, allowing you to perform effectively, efficiently, and without the fear of injury. A large part of the KINSTRETCH methodology is dedicated to home exercise assignment tailored specific to YOUR needs. You’ll also leave every class with something to practice so that you can continue to improve joint health and longevity.
